MOOD BOARD
This is my mood board i designed and made to inspire me for my final show. it has all the colours, shapes and patterns that has influenced my work in my final project. The colour palette i made up myself, i actually got the paints from BQ the hardware shop as there are about 1000 colours to chose from so i could get the exact colours i wanted. the colours all came from the indian wedding dresses on the mood board and the multi coloured roses.
Here is the picture of the roses larger so you can see in more detail the amount of different bold and bright colours there are
New Final Project
Everything message before this is from the 1st project in the third year building up to to my final major project. which is for my final show, the work from the last project can be used in this project to, so they can sort of be tied in together. the images just have to been developed and used in a different way. so basically that is what i have done, but also i have drawn and painted fresh images and also brought others themes into it which are birds and bold native. so the theme becomes much more tropical and has much more excitement and colour in it.

designs made for the sketchbook sketches
From some of the sketches I have shown on my blog and a few more in my sketchbook, I designed some dress designs using CAD and then print then using transfer and digital print. once my pieces had been printed i then used foil and i also devored on them. Here are a few examples of my work:
This piece was designed from my butterfly drawings and paintings on photoshop. I used transfer print on this piece. I have also used foil butterflies over the top of this piece after this picture was taken.
wow can't believe print and pattern even have a job blog

bits from my sketchbook
this is a sketch from my sketchbook that i drew in pencil then fine liner over to top to make the image look really crisp and neat. this is one of my favourite images from this sketchbook. i drew this from a butterfly book i borrowed from the library, one i scanned this image in i used it in photoshop and ended up using it with foils over the top of transfer and digital prints i also made. i am going to upload images of the finished work later on today.
this is another page out of the same sketchbook, i used the same technique. i just sketched the image quickly in pencil then used fine liner over the top and for the detail to make it look really defined and neat.
from this image i developed the image in photoshop and designed commerical print that can be used for a number of different things such as, a cushion, gift wrap or even a dress print.
this is the print i used from the poppy sketch aswell as two of my butterfly drawings.
